Description:
This is an IELTS prep text that has four academic tests and one general training test.
Usefulness:
Most students find the writing section of IELTS difficult. This book gives the explanation of the four marking criteria of the writing test. The explanation consists of what each criterion looks for in an essay. Also, the author provides model answers for the writing tasks along with her feedback in the form of an examiner's report and summary. Lastly, students can learn how to establish the right tone in academic writing task 2 by avoiding cliches, using inversion, it-clause, and concession.
